Sensis ADS-B Ground Station at the EAA AirVenture - Oshkosh, WI July 28 - August 3DEWITT, NY - August 1, 1999 - Sensis Corporation demonstrated its
ADS-B Ground Station at the annual EAA AirVenture Oshkosh fly-in. This demonstration builds upon the successful demonstration
earlier this month at the Cargo Airline Association's ADS-B Trials in the Ohio Valley. The ground station is capable of receiving position,
velocity and identification Mode-S squitter transmissions from ADS-B equipped aircraft at ranges well in excess of 100 nmi. The ground station and
a real-time data display can be viewed at the ADS-B exhibit. |
